आगरा नाम के इतिहास और पूर्व में क्षेत्र का नाम अग्रवन या अन्य होने के साक्ष्य व प्रमाण जुटाने का दायित्व डा. भीमराव आंबेडकर विश्वविद्यालय का इतिहास विभाग निर्वहन कर रहा है। अत: समस्त जनसाधारण से आग्रह है कि उपरोक्त के संदर्भ में यदि किसी भी प्रकार का ऐतिहासिक, पौराणिक अथवा पुरातात्विक प्रमाण हो तो वे नीचे दिये गये ईमेल/वैबसाइट पर दिये लिंक पर एक सप्ताह में भेजने का कष्ट करें।
