Achievements of the Institute

The Institute has faculties of international repute. They have delivered lectures in USA, Europe, China, Phillipines, Maurititus, Dubai, Srilanka, Thailand etc. The institute is continuously organizing international conferences jointly with Howard University, Washington DC. USA for last 2 years. ITHM is publishing international Journal on Tourism and Hospitality Management with ISSN number. The students of ITHM are well placed in India and abroad including USA, Canada, China,Dubai,Germny, Australlia ,Switzerland ,South Africa,Saudi Arabia etc.
The institute is continuously imparting training to service providers like – taxi drivers,rickshaw pullers,coollies,photographers etc. in Agra and other tourist places of the country. ITHM has organized international workshops in association with China and Korea too. The institute has conducted number of research projects sponsored by UGC, Ministry of Tourism, Government of India and other Government agencies.
The students of the institute often get opportunity for interaction with international students and faculties. Students also get opportunity to serve as volunteers in Taj mahotsava also.The faculties of the institute participate in policy formulation by tendering advice to concerned authorities time to time. Introduction of ZERO VALUED ticket to children at Taj Mahal is one of the examples advised by the Institute in order to assess the carrying capacity.
Foreign experts are also invited to deliver lecture in the institute. Students of ITHM get good placement as per their choices and capabilities in different travel agencies, air lines, hotels etc. of national and international repute. The institute organizes series of lectures on ethical, moral valuesanf current issues of national importance, in order to make students more responsible citizen. Students get exposure of training in various five star hotels, travel agencies, airlines and government institutions during the study. Faculties of the institute have published more than 15 books and have received awards of national and international repute including Karmayogi Puruskar of Maurititus and distinguished fellowship of USA.
• The institute takes initiative to train and assist local public too. The sellers of Deepak were trained for packaging and marketing by the students under the programme ‘Aao Utsav Saath Manaaye’. In this programme, 25 students in uniform joined hands of small vendors of deepak and other items on roadside around the University. They did not train them for best way to sell and packaging of such items but build up confidence and belongingness too.
