GYAN KUMBHA : ‘ANCIENT INSIGHTS IN SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY : A JOURNEY THROUGH INDIAN KNOWLEDGE SYSTEMS (IKS)’ from 21st-27th February 2025.
It is obviously an inter disciplinary program for the aim of the FDP was to focus that the knowledge traditions of India are continuous and cumulative. They are textual and exegetical traditions in Vedas in different areas of thought and experience i.e. linguistics, literature, philosophy, medicine, grammar, architecture, geography, literary theory, polity and political economy, logic, astronomy and mathematics etc. Gyan Kumbha aimed to explore the rich heritage of the Indian Knowledge System (IKS) and its significant contributions to the domains of science and technology. The program seeks to provide faculty with insights into traditional Indian knowledge and its contemporary relevance in fostering interdisciplinary learning, research, and innovation.
