Establishment of Community Radio: Agra Ki Awaz- 90.4 FM 

A dream project was submitted by the Institute to the Govt. of India through the University and recently a Community Radio came in existence named as "Agra Ki Aawaz". This radio station is unique in its kind running under the Department of Mass-Communication & Journalism.
It was inaugurated by the Chancellor of the University and Governor of U.P. H.E. Shri B.L. Joshi on 30 Oct. 2010.
Established in October 2010, CR 90.4 “Agra ki Awaz” is a Pride Symbol of our University. Dynamic, this medium is autonomous and non-commercial, relying on the communities it serves for survival as “For the People...By the People”. The subjects of our programs are the base of health, education, development & awareness of our community. Our Community Radio make programs as reflecting the hopes aspiration, problems and concerns of the people and also drawing upon their active participation along with entertainment of the student of the University & local talent.. We continue to create path breaking impact in our target community through different projects and effective intervention strategies.

OBJECTIVES: The "Agra Ki Awaz - 90.4-CR" will mainly serve the following objectives -

1- Information and education are the primary aspects of this community radio.
2- Programmes, reflecting the hopes aspirations, problems and concerns of the people, and also drawing upon their active participation along with entertainments of the students of University, Colleges and local talented persons.
3- To create harmony and a healthy environment in the society through the community radio.
4- To promote the welfare of students career counseling.

OUTLINE OF PROGRAMMES:
This community radio is operated, following the guidelines, in setting up a community radio station, in an educational institution, and the basic principles, emphasized by the ministry of Information & Broadcasting, Government of India.
